Arif Baigmohamed

Arif, a graduate of Harvard Business School and Brown University, has over 21 years of PE, corporate dev & operation management experience at blue chip firms in the west and frontier markets.

Prior to founding Cinepax, Mr. Baigmohamed was Chief Operating Officer of SetNet Corp, a Silicon Valley-based software company. Before that he worked in international project development for Enron International, where he assisted in the acquisition and development of projects totaling USD 3 billion in India, Brazil, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and the United States. He began his career with a Coca-Cola bottling company, where he eventually became Head of Operations and Marketing before leaving to attend business school.

Mr. Baigmohamed has a strong affiliation with Pakistan’s movie industry. His family operated two of Pakistan’s largest cinemas in Karachi, with a seating capacity of 1,500. They also were distribution agents in the 1960s and 1970s, serving as representatives in Pakistan of United Artists, Warner Brothers, Seven Arts and Universal Pictures and as local distributors of Paramount Pictures in Karachi.

Mr. Baigmohamed holds a BA from Brown University and a MBA from Harvard University.
